Mother Nature is in charge in first trailer for Bear on a rampage horror ‘Grizzly’

After going through yet another name change, the bear on a rampage survival horror, formerly known as Red Machine and Endangered, has now unleashed its first trailer!

Bloody Disgusting got the exclusive on the first trailer for Grizzly, and I must admit that the trailer is pretty decent. The dialogue in the trailer seems to be made up of fear inducing statements, but the action and violence look pretty impressive, and the setting for the film is a clear winner. As very strong cast should also lift the film well above the usual B-movie feel that normally comes with this kind of film.

Among the cast are Thomas Jane (The Mist), James Marsden (Straw Dogs), Billy Bob Thornton (Bad Santa, Eagle Eye), Scott Glenn (The Silence of the Lambs), Piper Perabo (The Prestige), Kelly Curran, Adam Beach and Michael McManus. The film is directed by David Hackl (Saw 5) and has been written by Rick Cleveland and J.R Reher.

In the action thriller Grizzly, a deputy whose mission is protecting the threatened grizzly bear suddenly finds himself conflicted when a massive rogue grizzly wreaks havoc on a local Alaskan community. Enlisting the help of his estranged brother, he enters the labyrinthian Grizzly Maze to track down his wife who’s gone missing before the bear does. As the body count mounts, and an infamous bear hunter enters the fray determined to take down the bear he’s been waiting for his whole life, no one is safe in the harsh Alaskan wilds.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
