Two new clips and some creepy character posters released for ‘The Purge: Anarchy’

As the release date of horror sequel The Purge: Anarchy gets closer, there seems to be more and more happening on the promotional side of things, and today we have two brand new clips and some sinister US character posters.

The posters themselves are quite unsettling, and I’m sure you’ll agree that they look great. The clips are also impressive, with the first clip seeing two girls being kidnapped for an unknown bosses “personal purge”. The second clip see’s star Frank Grillo being convinced to help some strangers he has just saved.

The Purge 2: Anarchy is written and directed by James DeMonaco, with Jason Blum producing for Blumhouse once again. The cast includes Frank Grillo, Michael K. Williams, Zach Gilford, Carmen Ejogo, Jasper Cole, Zoe Borde, Chad Morgan and Kiele Sanchez.

The New Founding Fathers of America invite you to celebrate the annual Purge. Returning alongside writer/director/producer James DeMonaco to produce the next chapter of the thriller are Blumhouse Productions’ Jason Blum (Paranormal Activity and Insidious series), alongside Sébastien K. Lemercier (Assault on Precinct 13, Four Lovers) and Platinum Dunes partners Michael Bay (Pain & Gain, Transformers franchise), Brad Fuller (The Amityville Horror, A Nightmare on Elm Street) and Andrew Form (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Friday the 13th).

THE PURGE: ANARCHY is in UK cinemas from 25th July 2014

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
