Everybody settle down, here’s a new TV spot for ‘The Equalizer’

A brand new TV spot has been released for director Antoine Fuqua’s adaptation of the 1980’s TV series, The Equalizer, and the new TV spot comes with a bonus Eminem track (if that’s your thing).

The one minute long trailer brings together all the cool stuff from the full length trailer, while adding just a tiny amount of new footage. Denzel Washington looks superb in the role that Edward Woodward made famous in the 80’s, and I am still liking this remake to Man on Fire, which is totally a good thing.

The Equalizer is directed by Antoine Fuqua, and is written by Richard Wenk. The cast includes Denzel Washington, Chloe Grace Moretz, Melissa Leo, Martin Csokas, Haley Bennett, David Harbour, and Bill Pullman.

The film will arrive in UK cinemas September 26th.

In The Equalizer, Denzel Washington plays McCall, a former black ops commando who has faked his death to live a quiet life in Boston. When he comes out of his self-imposed retirement to rescue a young girl, Teri (Chloë Grace Moretz), he finds himself face to face with ultra-violent Russian gangsters. As he serves vengeance against those who brutalize the helpless, McCall’s desire for justice is reawakened. If someone has a problem, the odds are stacked against them, and they have nowhere else to turn, McCall will help. He is The Equalizer.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
