It’s game over with this final full length trailer for ‘[Rec] 4: Apocalypse’

The fourth and final film in the superb [Rec] series is preparing for its world premier at the Toronto International Film Festival next month, and after a rather large collection of new images, we now have what is said to be the final full length trailer.

The trailer is pretty damned awesome, and is filled with tons of zombies carnage, epic moments of terror and lots and lots of screaming. Oh, and don’t forget that the stunning Manuela Velasco returns for Jaume Balaguero’s film, and she looks super hot in the trailer. Enjoy the brutal madness in the trailer embedded below.

Directed and co-created by Jaume Balaguero, [REC]4 Apocalypse will complete the franchise, with Manuela Velasco returning in the starring role.

Angela Vidal (Manuela Velasco), the young television reporter who entered the building with the fireman, manages to make it out alive. But what the soldiers don’t know is that she carries the seed of the strange infection. She is to be taken to a provisional quarantine facility, a high-security installation where she will have to stay in isolation for several days. An old oil tanker, miles off shore and surrounded by water on all sides, has been especially equipped for the quarantine.

TIFF synopsis:

Angela Vidal wakes up in a high-security quarantine facility, sole survivor and witness to the horrific events inside the building. But does she remember what happened to her? Is she carrying a virus? Distrust spreads through the isolated facility while new, even more deadly forms of evil spread even faster.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
