Peter Askin directs the adaptation of Stephen King’s A Good Marriage, and the first trailer has just been released, and it is not half bad.
It has a TV movie kinda vibe to it, but there is plenty of sinister happenings as the trailer cranks up the horror during the finale, and I must admit that this trailer has actually sold me quite easily.
A Good Marriage is directed by Peter Askin, and Stephen King wrote the screenplay. The film stars Joan Allen, Anthony LaPaglia, Stephen Lang, Kristen Connolly, and Theo Stockman.
The film arrives on VOD and in a limited theatrical run in the US from October 3rd.
Synopsis:
When her husband (Anthony LaPaglia) of more than twenty years is away on one of his business trips, Darcy Anderson (Joan Allen) looks for batteries in the garage. Instead she discovers the stranger inside her husband. It’s a horrifying discovery, rendered with bristling intensity, and it definitively ends a good marriage.
