I love prosthetic effects, stop-motion animation and gore, but most of all I love a good story! I adore B-movies and exploitation films in many of their guises and also have a soft spot for creature features. I review a wide range of media including movies, TV series, books and videogames. I'm a massive fan of author Hunter S. Thompson and I enjoy various genre of videogames with Kingdom Hearts and Harvest Moon two of my all time favs. Currently playing: Always Sometimes Monsters and The Witcher

  1. BEWARE: This is not a good movie in any way. I love Tony Jaa and all his movies except this one. I don’t know if its because of The Raid and Raid 2 but the fights in this are terrible. I think The Raid movies have ruined martial arts films for me. Having said that even if I had never seen those films this would still be awful. This is not the way I remember Tony Jaa.

  2. Jackie Chan as been better than Bruce Lee and Jet Li for years and is still the most amazing at fight scene choreography! Snake Is Eagles Shadow and Drunken Master are classics!

  3. Tai Chi Master (a.k.a Twin Brothers) Jet Li Movie. Its a timeless classic, the soundtrack is wonderful & no matter how I Feel, I can watch it over and over again.

  4. ‘Supercop’ starring Jackie Chan, Michelle Yeoh & Maggie Cheung. Action all the way and Jackie goes light on the comedy 😉

  5. Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon is not just one of my favourite Asian action movies but one of my favourite movies of all time. It’s executed perfectly, the production is second to none.
