What do you see when you look at Denzel Washington in The Equalizer, asks the brand new poster. Judging by the latest trailer and clip, an extremely dangerous man and not someone you really want to upset.

The latest trailer, which is pretty damn good by the way, was revealed by Eminem on his YouTube feed, as he provides a brand new track for the film. The trailer has a small amount of new footage, and plenty of Washington doing what he does best: being cool as a cucumber, ready to beat the crap out of anyone that is stupid enough to cross him.

The latest clip also shows off Washington’s almost cheeky confidence in being able to take on any and all comers. The simple rule here is, stay on his good side and you’ll live to see tomorrow!

The Equalizer is directed by Antoine Fuqua, and is written by Richard Wenk. The cast includes Denzel Washington, Chloe Grace Moretz, Melissa Leo, Martin Csokas, Haley Bennett, David Harbour, and Bill Pullman.

The film will arrive in UK cinemas September 26th.

Synopsis:

In The Equalizer, Denzel Washington plays McCall, a former black ops commando who has faked his death to live a quiet life in Boston. When he comes out of his self-imposed retirement to rescue a young girl, Teri (Chloë Grace Moretz), he finds himself face to face with ultra-violent Russian gangsters. As he serves vengeance against those who brutalize the helpless, McCall’s desire for justice is reawakened. If someone has a problem, the odds are stacked against them, and they have nowhere else to turn, McCall will help. He is The Equalizer.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
