A big bunch of images from Alexandre Aja’s upcoming horror, Horns, have been unleashed by ScFiWorld, and if you are feeling brave then you will find the images in the gallery below.

I must warn you though, THE IMAGES CAN BE DEEMED VERY SPOILERY so continue at your own peril.

The images are great, and show off some superb looking special effects (of which the film is said to contain not a lot, which is a good thing), and they also show off Daniel Radcliffe clearly relishing his devilish new role.

Radcliffe explained to Total Film this week that his character in the film, Ig, is the most emotionally intense character he’s ever played.

“He’s a good person who has something inexplicable and terrifying happen to him,” Radcliffe explained.

“Ig’s anger is a lot more on display than any character I’ve played. The way he lashes out at the world is much more overt than I’ve done before.

“And I think, frankly, it’s one of the most emotionally intense characters I’ve ever played.”

Horns is directed by Alexandre Aja and will be released in UK cinemas on October 29th.

Daniel Radcliffe leads a top notch ensemble cast that includes Juno Temple, Max Minghella, Joe Anderson, Kelli Garner, Heather Graham, David Morse, Kathleen Quinlan and James Remar. The film is based on the novel by comic book author Joe Hill. Keith Bunin wrote the screenplay.

HORNS was produced by Red Granite Pictures founders and producing partners Riza Aziz and Joey McFarland in addition to Mandalay’s Cathy Shulman. Alexandre Aja is also a producer.

Synopsis:

Horns, a supernatural thriller driven by fantasy, mystery, and romance, follows Ig Perrish (Radcliffe), the number one suspect for the violent rape and murder of his girlfriend, Merrin (Temple). Hungover from a night of hard drinking, Ig awakens one morning to find horns starting to grow from his own head and soon realizes their power drives people to confess their sins and give in to their most selfish and unspeakable impulses – an effective tool in his quest to discover the true circumstances of his late girlfriend’s tragedy and for exacting revenge on her killer.

This rock and roll infused dark fantasy explores why bad things happen to good people and what the loss of true love can do to a man. The widely acclaimed book was on the New York Times bestseller list for six weeks and has become an international bestseller as well.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
