It may not be a good idea to watch this new ‘Ouija’ trailer, especially if you’re alone!

Arriving in UK cinemas for Halloween is Ouija, a new horror feature from Stiles White, and a new UK trailer has been unleashed tonight to bring the spirits into your home.

The trailer is slightly shorter than the US trailer, and wastes no time in getting right to the scares. There is some great horror moments here, some creepy imagery and the cast all appear to be very effective. I actually have high hopes for this new horror, so bring on Halloween!

Ouija is written and directed by Stiles White, with Juliet Snowden co-writing.

Jason Blum and Michael Bay have produced Ouija, which arrives on October 31st 2014.

The cast includes Bianco Santos (“The Fosters”), Erin Moriarty (“Red Widow”), newcomer Ana Coto, Vivis Colombetti (Paranormal Activity 2), Olivia Cooke (“Bates Motel”), Douglas Smith, Daren Kagasoff, and Matthew Settle.

Official synopsis:

In OUIJA, a group of friends must confront their most terrifying fears when they awaken the dark powers of an ancient spirit board. Stiles White directs the supernatural thriller that is produced by Platinum Dunes partners Michael Bay, Brad Fuller and Andrew Form (The Purge, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Friday the 13th) alongside Blumhouse Productions’ Jason Blum (Paranormal Activity and Insidious series, The Purge), Bennett Schneir (Battleship) and Hasbro. Juliet Snowden and Stiles White wrote the script for OUIJA, and Universal will distribute the film worldwide.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.

  1. Let me take a WAG here… they find it, dare each other to play it (except for one who really doesn’t wanna), it starts to move (You’re moving it! No, YOU’RE moving it!), then they say, “We should have never done this!” shake well and serve…
