I am a huge admirer of Michael Mann’s films, and whenever there is a new one to look forward to I get very excited! Having directed one of the greatest crime movies of all time (Heat), and directing one of the most incredible films ever (Last of the Mohicans), along with exceptional films like Manhunter, Collateral, Public Enemies and The Insider, who could  blame me for getting excited.

Blackhat is Mann’s new film which stars Chris Hemsworth in a role that clearly suits the talented actor, and Mann is renowned for getting the best out of his actors. The first trailer is really impressive, with an unmistakably Mann vibe, all cool gadgets, genius action and of course Mann’s exceptional night time shots. The choice of music (as always with Mann) is perfect for the events as they unfold in a truly gripping, thrilling and highly watchable trailer.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
