This red band trailer for possession horror ‘The Taking of Deborah Logan’ is rather unsettling

Possession horrors are nearly always a good watch, and add to the genre some good old found footage, and you just might have yourself a winner. However, with the horror genre, the trailer can make or break the film, and thankfully this first trailer for The Taking of Deborah Logan certainly makes the film.

The trailer can be found below, in all its shouty, screamy, frightening, unsettling and chaotic found footage horror glory, and there is plenty on offer here to really give you the shivers. I am really excited by this trailer and I aint scared to admit it.

The Taking of Deborah Logan is directed and co-written by Adam Robitel, with Gavin Heffernan co-writing. The cast includes Jill Larson, Anne Ramsay, Michelle Ang, and Ryan Cutrona.

Mia Medina (Michelle Ang; My Wedding and Other Secrets, Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son) has finally found the perfect subject for her PhD thesis film on Alzheimer’s Disease. For the next several months, cameras will record the everyday life of mother Deborah Logan (Jill Larson; ABC’s “All My Children,” Shutter Island) and her daughter, Sarah (Anne Ramsay; Planet of the Apes, A League of Their Own, NBC’s “Mad About You,” ABC Family’s “The Secret Life of the American Teenager”).

But as the days progress, strange things begin to happen around Deborah that are not consistent with any findings about Alzheimer’s. It becomes apparent that there’s something besides Alzheimer’s that has taken control of Deborah’s life. It’s an evil that is far worse than the debilitating disease with which she was first diagnosed.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
