We’ve had countless teaser trailers, and yesterday saw a brand new full length trailer for American Horror Story: Freak Show, the fourth season of the horror series. We’ve seen posters, character posters and plenty of images, but now as we are in the month of October, which is when the series returns, we can now share with you the glorious opening credits.

Say what you will about American Horror Story, but there is no denying that the shows opening credits have constantly been macabre works of genius, and Freak Show is no different. The music is slightly softer and dreamlike, but the imagery (as always) is unsettling and nightmarish, and I love the way it is presented in freakish almost stop motion in places. Awesome stuff, check out the opening credits below.

American Horror Story: Freak Show will scare UK TV from 21st October.

“American Horror Story” (“AHS”) returns with an all-new gritty and gripping season, premiering Wednesday, October 8th, at 10 p.m. ET/PT (check local listings). Season 4, “Freak Show,” is set in 1950s Juniper, FL, and centers around one of the last remaining freak shows of the time.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
