Werewolf horror ‘Late Phases’ delivers monstrous first trailer

Last month saw the superb first poster released for Adrian Garcia Bogliano’s well received Werewolf horror, Late Phases, and now comes the films very first trailer.

It does not disappoint, with plenty of cool dialogue, some great action and horror, and some pretty impressive transformation scenes too!

Late Phases is directed by Adrian Garcia Bogliano (Here Comes the Devil, Cold Sweat, Penumbra), and written by Eric Stolze (Under the Bed). The films cast includes Nick Damici, Ethan Embry (Can’t Hardly Wait), Erin Cummings (above, Spartacus), Lance Guest (Halloween II), Tom Noonan (Manhunter), Tina Louise (Stepford Wives), Karen Lynn Gorney (Saturday Night Fever), Caitlin O’Hearney (Wolfen) and Rutanya Alda (The Deer Hunter).

The film arrives in limited US cinemas on 2st November.

Crescent Bay is not the ideal place to spend one’s golden years, especially since the once-idyllic retirement community has been beset by a series of deadly animal attacks from the ominous forest surrounding it. When grizzled war veteran Ambrose McKinley (Nick Damici) is forced into moving there by his yuppie son, Will (Ethan Embry), the residents immediately take offense to Ambrose’s abrasive personality. But that take-no-prisoners attitude may be just what Ambrose needs to survive as it becomes clear that the attacks are being caused by creatures that are neither animal nor man and that the tight-knit community of Crescent Bay is hiding something truly sinister in its midst…

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
