I love prosthetic effects, stop-motion animation and gore, but most of all I love a good story! I adore B-movies and exploitation films in many of their guises and also have a soft spot for creature features. I review a wide range of media including movies, TV series, books and videogames. I'm a massive fan of author Hunter S. Thompson and I enjoy various genre of videogames with Kingdom Hearts and Harvest Moon two of my all time favs. Currently playing: Kingdom Come: Deliverance

  1. I love reading Graphic Novels. Just read The Umbrella Academy and The Gigantic Beard That Was Evil. I love how sucked in I get when reading graphic novels even if they have no words like the amazing – Flood.

  2. Horror. I love to curl up in front of the fire on a dark night with a great horror novel. Even when I know all the twists and turns I always end rereading my favourites.

  3. Loving Sci-Fi at the mo (Expanse series is great, so is the new Peter F Hamilton), usually Fantasy (anything!) and Horror (Clive Barker, Stephen King, James Herbert, August Derlith, Brian Lumley and many many more)

  4. Depends what mood i am in & how much time i have .. holiday reads are always best sellers that i can’t put down until finished, but often its autobiographies & short stories. Just finished “The Lake” by Ray Bradbury.

  5. I quite enjoy fantasy novels with a dystopian setting or a fictional world. I also enjoy crime thrillers that keep me guessing until the end

  6. SF, espicially “Hard SF” – e.g. Larry Niven who built many stories on scientific theories (neutron stars etc) and Cyberpunk
