I can’t say that I’m that excited about it myself, but the majority of movie-goers can’t wait for Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar, which opens in 70mm IMAX and 35mm IMAX tomorrow and then everywhere else on November 7th. To whet your appetite, Collider.com have five new featurettes for you to watch, offering a behind-the-scenes peek at how Nolan made his stars feel like they’re trapped in a dust storm, zipping through space, traversing icy planets and more. There’s two new TV spots as well. Interstellar stars Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Wes Bentley, Jessica Chastain, Matt Damon, Mackenzie Foy, Michael Caine and John Lithgow.

Meanwhile Nolan has dismissed the practice of including after-credits scenes. Said to have rejected Warner Bros’ suggestion of including such a scene in Man of Steel, Nolan, interviewed by The Guardian, replied that:

“A real movie wouldn’t do that”.

Fair enough I suppose. I’m personally tiring of this stuff Marvel are putting at the end of their movies.

I'm a huge film fan and will watch pretty much any type of film, from Martial Arts to Westerns, from Romances [though I don't really like Romcoms!]] to Historical Epics. Though I most certainly 'have a life', I tend to go to the cinema twice a week! However, ever since I was a kid, sneaking downstairs when my parents had gone to bed to watch old Universal and Hammer horror movies, I've always been especially fascinated by horror, and though I enjoy all types of horror films, those Golden Oldies with people like Boris Karloff and Christopher Lee probably remain my favourites. That's not to say I don't enjoy a bit of blood and gore every now and again though, and am also a huge fan of Italian horror, I just love the style.
