‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’- Lego trailer, mystery voiceover revealed plus Kevin Smith’s reaction to trailer

The Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer arrived Friday, and has been one of the most talked about trailers of the year. Everywhere you turn, people are talking about it, and the general feeling is that it is great. Personally. I loved it, and it did exactly what teasers are supposed to do, it teased and left many questions to be answered.

So today we have a few things to share with you that have come about since the trailer dropped, and I am sure you will enjoy them.

First up is a really super Lego version of the trailer. Check it out next, and I am sure you’ll agree that it is just brilliant!

Next up comes confirmation of who the mystery narrator is on the trailer. Many have thought it was Benedict Cumberbatch, while other names like Max Von Sydow and Adam Driver have been thrown around.

The voiceover states in the trailer “There has been an awakening. Have you felt it?” Followed by “The dark side…and the light.”

Collider did some digging, and claimed that the voice belonged to one Andy Serkis.

Still skeptical, many did not quite believe it, with AICN even posting it was definitely “not Serkis”.

However, things have changed now that Hitfix got on the case and got the voice confirmed:

“For the record, that is Andy Serkis you hear in the trailer. I was able to verify this, although I was not able to uncover any further information about the role he plays. Here’s what I do know, though. He’s playing a pivotal role in the film, although he will not have a lot of screen time”

So now the big question is just who is Serkis playing???

Finally, in all in the name of everyone coming together to share their excitement, here is a video posted by Star Wars fanatic Kevin Smith, and his reaction to the trailer:

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
