Earlier this week it was announced that the first trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens would be shown in a number of cinemas across North America, and those cinemas would be exclusively showing the trailer before anywhere else. The trailer is set to debut this coming Friday.

Things have changed as Disney have come to realise that the trailer will likely arrive on-line very quickly in a poor quality pirated version. They have now announced that not only will the trailer be shown in select cinemas, but it will also be made available on iTunes. Naturally the trailer will land on-line on Friday too, in a good quality version for all to enjoy.

The official announcement was made through the Star Wars Twitter account:

Be sure to check back here on Friday when we will hopefully have the trailer to share with you.

Actors John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Lupita Nyong’o, Gwendoline Christie and Max von Sydow will join the original stars of the Saga Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker in the new film.

Star Wars: Episode VII is being directed by J.J. Abrams from a screenplay by Lawrence Kasdan and Abrams. Kathleen Kennedy, Abrams, and Bryan Burk are producing, and John Williams returns as the composer. The movie opens worldwide on December 18, 2015.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
