Directed by Chicago based filmmaker Jim Vendiola, a teaser trailer has been revealed for 14 minute psychological horror short VIOLETS.

Under the veil of their quiet, austere life, two housemaid sisters share a twisted plan. Inspired by an historical incident of strange brutality and made in the vein of ‘70s psychological horror, Violets is a haunting tale of familial bonds whose themes consider the eponymous flower, known in mythology and folklore to symbolize a delicate and tragic love, as well as maidenhood, untimely death and rebirth.

Starring Starring Annie Boldon, Cassandra Jones and Ryan Czerwonko, VIOLETS is currently screening at film festivals.
