The ‘Wonder Woman’ movie has a director!

While not much is known about the Wonder Woman movie, what we do know is that Gal Gadot will star in it, and that Warners and DC have set a release date of 23rd June 2017.

Deadline now confirms that the film has a director:

As expected, Warner Bros. has signed Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad helmer Michelle MacLaren to direct Wonder Woman, the Gal Gadot-starring tentpole slated to hit theaters in 2017. The DC Comics superheroine standalone will be developed by MacLaren with scribes the studio’s still keeping under wraps; Charles Roven, Zack Snyder, and Debbie Snyder are producing alongside Richard Suckle. MacLaren was atop WB’s shortlist of potential helmers for the high profile tentpole, which will continue WB’s DC superhero universe after Snyder’s Batman v. Superman: Dawn Of Justice and David Ayer’s Suicide Squad in 2016.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
