Back in October, we revealed an awesome new trailer for director Steve Wolsh’s terrific looking horror Muck, and we once again share that trailer below. It seems that the gloriously deprived trailer is being used to promote the films US release, and along with it we have the awesome US poster and release details to share with you.
But that’s not all…
We also have a new behind the scenes clip, plus a reminder of the Kickstarter campaign looking to fund the films prequel: Muck: Feast of Saint Patrick.
Here is what the Kickstarter campaign had to say in response to the above clip, and fans support:
The daring stunt-woman in this case is Alexa Marcigliano, and her courage is palpable in the clip, sprinting O.S. through the pitch-black living room before bouncing on a trampoline, then hurling herself through the 4 x 6 picture window, out into the night. To say that hitting her mark was highly important is obviously an understatement. Jump too short, and Alexa would land head-first on the edge of the porch outside; too high, and she would hit window frame; too long, and she would overshoot the padding buried beneath the grass outside. And, since there was only room in the budget for one window, it had to be done in a single take.
These are the kinds of stunts that Steve Wolsh lives to shoot as a writer/director, but these kinds of stunts take time, money, and not least of all, the ultimate creative control that can only be afforded by independent financing. So remember, any mention or write-up on the Muck Kickstarter campaign directly furthers our goal of making another epic, independent horror film for true horror fans. The Muck franchise is so close to this goal – a goal that at one time seemed insurmountable! – and we have all of you, our loyal supporters to thank.
Director Steve Wolsh has launched a MUCK Kickstarter campaign ahead of the Muck prequel, Muck: Feast of Saint Patrick. The KS/horror community has responded with resounding support already, to the tune of almost $20,000 in the first 3 days, with the final goal being $250,000.

For fans who like their 4K horror on the big screen, MUCK will also have a limited theatrical engagement starting Friday, March 13th.
After narrowly escaping an ancient burial ground, long forgotten and buried underneath the marshes of Cape Cod, a group of friends emerge from the thick, marshy darkness, tattered and bloody, lucky to be alive. They have already lost two of their friends in the marsh, presumably dead. They stumble upon an empty Cape Cod vacation house alongside the foggy marsh and break in to take shelter. Whatever was in the marsh is still after them and soon after one of them goes for help, the rest of the group learns that the evil in the marsh is not the only thing that wants them dead. Something worse, something more savage, was lying in wait just outside the marsh, in the house. What happens next is unspeakable horror that cannot be unseen. These unlucky travelers spend their St. Patrick’s Day trapped between two evils forcing them to fight, die, or go back the way they came.
Featuring Kane Hodder (Hatchet, Jason Voorhees in four of the Friday the 13th films), Lachlan Buchanan (“Pretty Little Liars”), Puja Mohindra (Foreign), Bryce Draper (Bound) and YouTube Sensation Lauren Francesca (iwantmylauren), MUCK is throwback horror at its best.
