Jason Statham is good at being violent in first ‘Wild Card’ trailer

As he states in the trailer, Jason Statham is not a violent man, he’s just very good at it. Here at HCF we love The Stath, and the trailer for his latest film Wild Card looks to be perfect for fans of his ultra violence and witty dialogue.

Another interesting thing about Wild Card is that it pairs Con Air director Simon West with writer William Goldman, writer of such classics as Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, The Princess Bride and All the Presidents Men. Judging by the trailer, Wild Card is set to be a tremendous amount of fun.

Wild Card is written by William Goldman and directed by Simon West. The cast includes Jason Statham, Anne Heche, Sofia Vergara, Jason Alexander, Hope Davis, and Stanley Tucci.

Nick Wild (Jason Statham) is a Las Vegas bodyguard with lethal professional skills and a personal gambling problem. When a friend is beaten by a sadistic thug, Nick strikes back, only to find out the thug is the son of a powerful mob boss. Suddenly Nick is plunged into the criminal underworld, chased by enforcers and wanted by the mob. Having raised the stakes, Nick has one last play to change his fortunes…and this time, it’s all or nothing. From two-time Academy® Award-winning writer William Goldman (Best Original Screenplay, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, 1969; Best Adapted Screenplay, All the President’s Men, 1976).

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
