The images revealed by Entertainment Weekly for Terminator: Genisys were not exactly great, so there is huge pressure on Paramount to really deliver with the films first trailer, and now we know when that trailer will arrive.

The first trailer for director Alan Taylor’s Terminator: Genisys will be released this coming Thursday, so be sure to check back here to see it. To keep you going until then, a very cool motion poster has been released.

Terminator: Genisys is written by Laeta Kalogridis (AVATAR, SHUTTER ISLAND) and Patrick Lussier (DRIVE ANGRY). David Ellison and Dana Goldberg (WORLD WAR Z, STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS) of Skydance Productions are producing. Executive producers are Skydance’s Paul Schwake (WORLD WAR Z, STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS), Annapurna Pictures’ Megan Ellison (AMERICAN HUSTLE, HER), Kalogridis, and Lussier.

Alan Taylor (Thor: The Dark World, Game of Thrones) is directing.

TERMINATOR: GENISYS stars Arnold Schwarzenegger (THE EXPENDABLES 1 & 2, TERMINATOR 1, 2 & 3), Jason Clarke (THE GREAT GATSBY, ZERO DARK THIRTY), Emilia Clarke (“Game of Thrones”), Jai Courtney (DIVERGENT, JACK REACHER), J.K. Simmons (MEN, WOMEN & CHILDREN, UP IN THE AIR), Dayo Okeniyi (THE HUNGER GAMES, THE SPECTACULAR NOW), and Byung-Hun Lee (RED 2, G.I. JOE: RETALIATION).

The TERMINATOR franchise launched in 1984 with Schwarzenegger as the title character and spanned three subsequent films, which have earned more than $1 billion at the worldwide box office.

Paramount will distribute the film worldwide on July 1, 2015.

The next two films, currently titled Terminator 2 and Terminator 3 (titles WILL change) will be shot back to back, and while zero details have been revealed, what we do know is the exact dates they will be released.

The new Terminator trilogy release schedule looks like this:

Terminator: Genisys – July 1, 2015
Terminator 2 (or 6) – May 19, 2017

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
