CHRIS PRATT MAY PLAY INDIANA JONES

Is Disney trying to own EVERYTHING! We recently reported that the studio has bought the film rights to our favourite archaelogist from Paramount. Now, reports Deadline, Chris Pratt [Guardians Of The Galaxy, the upcoming Jurassic World] has emerged as the leading candidate to take over from Harrison Ford in the proposed revival, although highly-placed sources suggested that a deal is far from done.

Ever since the release of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull there have been rumours of another Indy adventure, despite the 2008 movie not being very good, with Bradley Cooper linked to one at one point until Lucasfilm denied it. Ford has expressed willingness to portray globe-trotting archaeologist Indiana Jones again, saying in 2013 that he would sign for a sequel in “a New York minute”, though despite looking about ten years younger than he actually is, he’s far too old and, if the shoddy third Expendables actioner is anything to go by, not that great an actor these days. At least he is getting to reprise another iconic role as Han Solo in Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens.

I don’t think Pratt is ideal for the part at all, but he could surprise me….

I'm a huge film fan and will watch pretty much any type of film, from Martial Arts to Westerns, from Romances [though I don't really like Romcoms!]] to Historical Epics. Though I most certainly 'have a life', I tend to go to the cinema twice a week! However, ever since I was a kid, sneaking downstairs when my parents had gone to bed to watch old Universal and Hammer horror movies, I've always been especially fascinated by horror, and though I enjoy all types of horror films, those Golden Oldies with people like Boris Karloff and Christopher Lee probably remain my favourites. That's not to say I don't enjoy a bit of blood and gore every now and again though, and am also a huge fan of Italian horror, I just love the style.
