Just a few days ago Luke Evans said to HitFix regarding the lost in development The Crow reboot:
“Right now I’m not sure where it is, I don’t know what’s happening with it. I think it’s a question probably to ask [distributor] Relativity…they’re the ones who are really holding the strings to this story and this character. But yeah, I don’t think it’s gonna be something I’m gonna be doing for awhile. I’ve got about four or five different projects which I’m lining up for this year, which will take up the majority of my 12 months. So not in the near future, unfortunately.”
You can feel the actors frustration, and since Evans was attached the film has already lost one director (F. Javier Gutierrez) and gained another (Corin Hardy). However, comments from Evans hinted that the actor was fed up waiting, and moving on to new projects.
Now The Wrap has confirmed that Evans has quite the reboot.
We have reported so much bad news on this doomed reboot, I feel there is not really anything more to say hear. All we now know is that once again a new director has been found, and once again the film has lost its starring actor.
Seriously, let’s give up on this now shall we?
