Robert Portal Joins The Cast of Jonathan Chance’s THE RECTORY


Actor Robert Portal (Kings Speech, The Iron Lady, Mr. Turner) has joined the cast of period horror thriller The Rectory.

Portal will play cohort Paranormal Investigator Glanville in the co-starring role of the feature film based on the true events of England’s most haunted house.

The cast developing also includes South African actress Lisa Leonard and BAFTA LA newcomers Cameron Moir and Declan Michael Laird signed on for the movie adapted from the Shriekfest nominated screenplay.

With his reputation on the line, discredited paranormal investigator Harry Price enlists candidates for a year-long experiment in the most haunted house in England, Borley Rectory. When bizarre accounts begin to mount and the house takes on a life of its own, his reputation may not be the only thing he will lose.

Written and directed by Jonathan Chance and produced by Calvin Vanderbeek, the film will star Crispian Belfrage, Robert Portal, Jason Vail, and David Hogan.
