As promised, Universal have released the very first trailer for Seth MacFarlane’s sequel, Ted 2, and we have it embedded below for you to enjoy.
The sequel looks very funny indeed, and appears to have a slightly more involving plot than the first film (which I loved), and the pairing of Ted and Mark Wahlberg again looks like comedy gold. The new film boasts an impressive cast of big names, including Morgan Freeman, Amanda Seyfried and Liam Neeson, and I must admit that the trailer actually looks like an improvement on the original.
Ted 2 is written and directed by Seth MacFarlane, with Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild also in writing duties. MacFarlane returns to voice Ted, while Mark Wahlberg returns as Ted’s best buddy John Bennett. The rest of the cat includes Liam Neeson, Amanda Seyfried, Morgan Freeman, Jason Clark, Patrick Warburton, Dennis Haysbert and Jessica Barth.
Ted 2 is released in UK cinemas on 10th July.
