I have still not seen Ouija, but I haven’t read many positive reviews, but regardless of whether critics liked it or not, there would appear to be a sequel on the way.
Collider caught up with producer Brad Fuller, who told them nothing more than:
“Ouija 2 is coming.”
No other details were revealed.
I guess if you have seen it then you will know whether it needs, or better still deserves a sequel.
The first Ouija was written and directed by Stiles White, with Juliet Snowden co-writing.
Jason Blum and Michael Bay produced Ouija, which arrived on October 31st 2014 in UK cinemas.
The cast included Bianco Santos (“The Fosters”), Erin Moriarty (“Red Widow”), newcomer Ana Coto, Vivis Colombetti (Paranormal Activity 2), Olivia Cooke (“Bates Motel”), Douglas Smith, Daren Kagasoff, and Matthew Settle.
In OUIJA, a group of friends must confront their most terrifying fears when they awaken the dark powers of an ancient spirit board. Stiles White directs the supernatural thriller that is produced by Platinum Dunes partners Michael Bay, Brad Fuller and Andrew Form (The Purge, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Friday the 13th) alongside Blumhouse Productions’ Jason Blum (Paranormal Activity and Insidious series, The Purge), Bennett Schneir (Battleship) and Hasbro. Juliet Snowden and Stiles White wrote the script for OUIJA, and Universal will distribute the film worldwide.
