I love prosthetic effects, stop-motion animation and gore, but most of all I love a good story! I adore B-movies and exploitation films in many of their guises and also have a soft spot for creature features. I review a wide range of media including movies, TV series, books and videogames. I'm a massive fan of author Hunter S. Thompson and I enjoy various genre of videogames with Kingdom Hearts and Harvest Moon two of my all time favs. Currently playing: Kingdom Come: Deliverance

  1. Mel Gibson as William Wallace in Braveheart. A decent performance from Gibson, terrifically brutal fight scenes and an unforgettably gruesome finale.

  2. Azeem in Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves. The way he shows superior intelligence to his western friends and his humour, courage and bravery in battle!

  3. Bonnie and clyde because its the whole message that comes with the film of being a rebel and living life in the fast lane

  4. Russell Crowe (Maximus) in Gladiator. You really felt for him in the movie and willed him to get his vengeance. The graphics were brilliant at the time it came out too, it was an epic movie.

  5. ‘The 13th Warrior’ with Antonio Banderas…okay, strictly not too much truth going on in it, but I just love all the down and dirty Viking stuff 😉

  6. Perseus in Clash of The Titans. Hunky & heroic in skimpy pants, whats not to like? (I’m a 40 yr old mother, give us a break lol!!)

  7. mel gibson in braveheart .. the costumes from the film, were exhibited at the Hancock in newcastle and the kids got to try them on .. so, I wore a costume that mel gibson had worn!

  8. Russell Crowe as Maximus in Gladiator because his acting is incredible throughout the whole film and he’s a bit hot too!

  9. Commodus from Gladiator. He’s so corrupted, twisted and immoral that he murders his own father, Marcus Aurelius. A brilliant baddie played perfectly by Joaquin Phoenix
