Win WHERE THE DEVIL HIDES on DVD In Our Competition

To celebrate the release of Where The Devil Hides, the eerie and atmospheric possession chiller – coming to DVD 26th Jan. 2015 – we have a copy on to giveaway courtesy of Kaleidoscope Home Entertainment.

Like recent super-cool indie sleeper-hit The Sacrament, Where The Devil Hides revolves around a religious cult. Unlike that film, Where The Devil Hides’ cast features some of cinema’s most iconic actors – Colm Meaney, Rufus Sewell and Jennifer Carpenter, all turn-in career-best performances.

Available to order on Amazon today.

  1. The Exorcist at the Old Grays State Cinema in Essex back in the early 80’s
. Sitting in the stalls down below where you could hear the mice moving about amongst all the rubbish. Most people sat up top in the posh seats!

  2. I went to see The Exorcist the fiorst time it was released to cinema screens. At the time I thought it was brilliant

  3. I saw The Exorcist when I was 15 and it has left me with a lifelong fear of seeing someone talking with another person’s voice. I went to a matinee performance and when we came out of the cinema, into the sunshine, every single person cast a glance to the church opposite.

  4. The Exorcist when I was about 8-9 years old and it scared the life out of me. I couldn’t sleep for about 3 months afterwards.

  5. The Exorcist when I was seventeen. This is the only film that has ever scared the shit out of me throughout the whole film.

  6. Poltergeist at a friend’s birthday party when we were 8! These days other parents would be complaining about that! It really scared me!

  7. Exorcist was about 13 when I seen it. I was terrified lol think its still to this day one of the best horror films of all time.

  8. Poltergeist 3 in the cinema on a Tuesday afternoon – my friend and I were the only ones in the cinema and we were scared witless even though it wasn’t a good film.

  9. It was of course The Exorcist. I found it very interesting. But then I watched In The grip of Evil which is the documentary about the actual case that the film was based on. That scared me.

  10. The Exorcist. Wasn’t scary, watched in daytime with my mother…the scene where she fcks herself with the cross…my mum watched that….with me….how awkward…………….

  11. First possession movie I watched was the Exorcist, I didn’t find it very scary though, probably because I was prevented from watching it for so long that I had very high fear expectations that were not fulfilled. However I am sure it was very scary in its time.

  12. Poltergeist – it scared the living daylights out of me – had been told I couldn’t watch it so snuck out of bed and watched it through the stair railings. For about 10 years after I couldn’t have any tv’s or mirrors in my bedroom – I used to cover them before going to sleep! I was only around 6 at the time of seeing it and refused to watch any of the others – finally re-watched it when I was in Uni and gotta be honest it still scared me a bit lol

  13. The first possession film I saw was The Exorcist when I was about 12. I was terrified but entranced. I think that was the start of my love of horror films.

  14. It was the Exorcist I watch it because of my dad . He worked in a small cinema called the Electra . He told me that when he showed the film the projection room went icy cold and he felt something was watching him . He was in there alone . He said one of the reels started spinning on it’s own on the floor . I saw it and loved it 🙂 😈

  15. The Exorcist, when I was about 16 and the effects did make me giggle, though the idea behind the film is one I still find quite horrific.

  16. It was the Exorcist – so long ago now but as I don’t have any negative memories of watching it I must have been a bit non plussed.

  17. The Exorcist on a pirate VHS; very grainy, but still very very scary! When it was finely released I bought it to make amends for my indiscretion and scared myself all over again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  18. it was definitely the exorcist and i was scared to go to sleep for at least a month afterwards. scared me for ages after that.

  19. The Evil Dead, What a great film, The first bit when she gets ‘attacked’ by the tree, then when she is turning & starts reading out the playing cards. that was great. very scary film for the time. 😡

  20. THE EXORSIST, And I watched it with my much older brother and his friends while he was supposed to be babysitting me (Though it was late and i was supposed to be asleep!) I Remember being Terrified but at the same time didn’t really understand what was going on so continued to ask questions through the film, Which annoyed my Brother so his replys where aimed at making me more frightened!

  21. It has to be the exorcist as back then it was so scary especially when the priests are performing the exorcism on the possessed girl

  22. Chucky was my best as others ha e scared the life out of me (I’m a wimp) but still I watch, watching a possessed doll when you are 11 is not a good idea.
