Samuel L. Jackson to join Tim Burton’s ‘Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children’?

Add Samuel L. Jackson to a film and it immediately becomes cool, but add him to a Tim Burton film and who knows what amazing things could come from it.

Thankfully Variety is reporting that Jackson is in talks to join Burton’s Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children.

Samuel L. Jackson is in talks with Fox to come on board Tim Burton’s “Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children” alongside Eva Green and Asa Butterfield.

Chernin Entertainment is producing “Peculiar Children” and has slotted the fantasy-actioner for release on March 4, 2016.

Burton will direct from a script by Jane Goldman, who adapted the Ransom Rigg novel about a teenager who finds himself on an island where he must help protect a group of orphans with special powers from creatures out to destroy them.

Tim Burton directs the adaptation of Ransom Riggs’ Home For Peculiar Children, which will be released 19th August 2015.

From director Tim Burton and based upon the best-selling novel, comes an unforgettable, thrilling and haunting tale. Sixteen-year-old Jacob follows clues that take him to a mysterious island where he discovers the crumbling ruins of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. As Jacob explores the abandoned bedrooms and hallways, he discovers that its former occupants were far more than peculiar; they possessed incredible powers. And they may still be alive.
