I love prosthetic effects, stop-motion animation and gore, but most of all I love a good story! I adore B-movies and exploitation films in many of their guises and also have a soft spot for creature features. I review a wide range of media including movies, TV series, books and videogames. I'm a massive fan of author Hunter S. Thompson and I enjoy various genre of videogames with Kingdom Hearts and Harvest Moon two of my all time favs. Currently playing: Kingdom Come: Deliverance

  1. Hi guys My Favioute Eli Roth film Is Aftershock!

brilliant film great gore and with great twists .. always leaves you gripped till the end of the film.

  2. Hostel, mainly because of its ludicrous yet believable premise! And it’s always good to see some whining pampered students get their comeuppance!

  3. Cabin Fever! underrated, chilling and gooey Horror at its best. Plus the awkwardness of the shop keepers’ comment at the beginning (the shot gun), leaves you feeling uncomfortable right up until the punchline at the very end of the film. Twisted Mr Roth!

  4. Cabin Fever was fab, but I actually enjoyed The Last Exorcism as well – not as bad as most critics would argue

  5. Hostel: Part II.

A sequel that actually surpassed the original, which I was just “meh” about. Heather Matarazzo scene?? Almost unwatchable. Plus the poster campaign for the movie was fantastic.

  6. The section he directed in ‘Inglourious Basterds’ is strangely my favourite thing he’s done…I so love that movie!

  7. Hostel! Brings back memories of me and my friends cringing on the sofa. We could never watch the bit with the toe at the start of the gore (that it doesn’t even show!!!!!) but could watch everything else!

  8. I loved Hostel, shocking and gory. I’ve got an immensely strong stomach, but some of the scenes were grusome enough to make even me cringe. 😈
