First clip from horror comedy ‘The Final Girls’ sets up lots of deaths

The first ever clip has been released from director Todd Strauss-Schulson’s 80’s themed horror comedy, The Final Girls, and we have Deadline to thank for the clip.

Setting up a deaths of what sounds like the entire cast, while willfully delivering cliches and nods to 80’s slasher films, the clip is a nice tease of what is to come from The Final Girls. Fingers crossed a trailer is just around the corner.

Todd Strauss-Schulson (A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas) directs and M. A. Fortin and Joshua John Miller co-wrote the screenplay, with Michael London and Janice Williams producing. The cast includes Taissa Farmiga, Malin Akerman, Adam DeVine, Thomas Middleditch, Alia Shawkat, Alexander Ludwig, Nina Dobrev.

Synopsis:

The grieving daughter of a 1980s scream queen finds herself trapped in her mother’s most famous film. The women are reunited and must fight off the film’s maniacal killer before the daughter can return to her life.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
