Tim Burton continues to be a very busy man, and after Big Eyes was released in December, the director is already hard at work on his long in development adaptation of Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children.
While we wait to see if he directs Dumbo or Bettlejuice 2 next, we must first focus on Miss Peregrine, which looks perfect for Burton. The main cast have now been revealed:
Asa Butterfield stars in the film as protagonist Jacob, alongside Samuel L. Jackson, Eva Green, Allison Janney, Terence Stamp, Ella Purnell, Chris O’Dowd, Kim Dickens, Judi Dench and Rupert Everett.
Burton will direct from a script by Jane Goldman, who adapted the Ransom Rigg novel about a teenager who finds himself on an island where he must help protect a group of orphans with special powers from creatures out to destroy them.
Tim Burton directs the adaptation of Ransom Riggs’ Home For Peculiar Children, which will be released 4th March 2016.
