Muck made history recently when it became the first horror film to premiere at one of the most exclusive theaters on the planet: Hugh Hefner’s private screening room at the iconic Playboy Mansion, where first-time director Steve Wolsh hosted a Red Carpet event for his long-awaited indie slasher.

Wolsh’s guests included cast, crew, and other friends of the film, such as 11-time Olympic medalist Ryan Lochte. Members of the press from Getty/WireImage, Dread Central, Daily Dead, Fangoria Entertainment, and StarPulse were also at the Mansion for this historic evening.

Muck is the first installment, albeit middle chapter, of Wolsh’s horror trilogy. The upcoming prequel to Muck was funded by the ultra-successful Muck: Kickstarter, and several of the campaign’s biggest supporters were on hand for the festivities.

Writer/Director Steve Wolsh was joined by Muck stars Jaclyn Swedberg (Playboy’s Playmate of the Year 2012), Bryce Draper, and Laura Jacobs, as well as future Muck trilogy cast members Raquel Pomplun and Kennedy Summers (Playboy Playmates of the Year 2013 and 2014, respectively). Wolsh admitted in his toast that premiering a film at the 22,000 square-foot Gothic Tudor mansion had been a near-lifelong dream, dating back to when he first discovered Playboy Magazine at six years old.

Prior to the screening, guests and journalists enjoyed cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and a stroll of the Mansion grounds – including the infamous Grotto, and the zoo/aviary, where one could observe monkeys, flamingos, and emus.

Muck begins a weeklong theatrical run at the Arena Cinema in Hollywood on Friday the 13th, March 2015, but is available for pre-order now from Walmart and Best Buy.

Available everywhere on Saint Patrick’s Day, Muck can viewed On Demand via all major cable providers such as Time Warner, Direct TV, Dish Network, Cox, and Comcast, as well as streaming on Amazon Instant, iTunes, PlayStation Network, and Xbox live.
