Kevin Smith’s Horror Thriller TUSK To Hit DVD in UK on 8th June 2015


From cult-hit indie filmmaker Kevin Smith (Clerks, Dogma) comes the transformative new horror thriller TUSK, available on Digital HD 25th May from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment and DVD 8th June. Praised by critics as “Kevin Smith’s very best work” (Variety), this terrifying modern-day monster movie stars Justin Long (Drag Me to Hell, Live Free or Die Hard) as a hotshot podcaster who travels to Canada to interview a mysterious recluse who may have sinister and inhuman designs on him. Co-starring Michael Parks (Django Unchained, Kill Bill Vol. 1&2), Haley Joel Osment (The Sixth Sense, A.I. Artificial Intelligence) and Genesis Rodriguez (Identity Thief, Hours), TUSK is this year’s must-own movie for Kevin Smith fans and horror fans everywhere!

The DVD and Digital HD of TUSK also come loaded with frighteningly fun bonus features, including deleted scenes, multiple “making of” featurettes, a career retrospective featurette with Kevin Smith, an audio commentary with Kevin Smith, the original podcast that inspired the film, and more!

When podcaster and journalist Wallace Bryton (Long) goes missing in the backwoods of Manitoba while interviewing a mysterious seafarer named Mr. Howe (Parks), his best friend (Osment) and girlfriend (Rodriguez) team with an ex-cop to look for him before something horrible and sinister happens to him.

TUSK was produced by Shannon McIntosh (Django Unchained, Death Proof), Sam Englebardt (Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, Machete Kills), William D. Johnson (Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, Machete Kills) and David S. Greathouse (Paranoia, Two Night Stand). Executive producer is Jennifer Schwalbach (TV’s “Spoilers with Kevin Smith”).

The film has a run time of approximately 97 minutes and is rated 15.
