Robert Englund will punish inmates in new horror ‘The Funhouse Massacre’

Robert Englund will forever be remembered (and loved) for playing Freddy Krueger in the Nightmare on Elm Street series, but the horror legend continues to churn out films in our beloved genre.

Englund has appeared in well over a hundred films over his very long career, and his latest venture into horror has just been announced.

Englund is set to play a prison warden in The Fun House Massacre, a film about six psychopaths who escape from prison and go about unleashing terror.

The psychopaths will be played by Clint Howard (Evilspeak), Jere Burns (“Justified”), Sebastian Siegel (“Lost”), and Courtney Gains (Children of the Corn). Robert Kurtzman (It Follows, Fear Clinic, Texas Chainsaw, Hulk) is the Effects Makeup Supervisor.

Andy Palmer (Alien Strain, Find Me) directs, and filming is now underway.

Six of the world’s scariest psychopaths escape from a local asylum and proceed to unleash terror on the unsuspecting crowd of a Halloween funhouse whose themed mazes are inspired by their various reigns of terror.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
