Human Centipede director aims to continue to shock horror fans with new film ‘The Onania Club’

The Human Centipede creator Tom Six has made it his mission in life to push viewers to their limits. Upset that horror fans were not as shocked as he hoped with The Human Centipede, he answered those complaints by making the black and white gore fest, The Human Centipede II: Full Sequence.

Banned until heavily cut, the second film in the trilogy lived up to its promise, and proved that Six could really push things into the realms of true shock horror. The third film, The Human Centipede III: Final Sequence, with its Grindhouse design and dark comedy elements, has been met with mixed reviews, with many of them being extremely negative toward the film.

I cannot comment as I have not seen the film yet, but Six responded with the following Tweet:

He has now announced his next project, and it would seem that the Human Centipede films have merely teased his appetite for depravity. Six announced to Bloody Disgusting that his next film will be called The Onania Club, and it will be “The most politically incorrect inhumane horror flick ever unleashed on mankind!,”. He promises the black comedy will be much worse than anything seen in the Human Centipede trilogy.

“Again it will be a film that will explore the dark side. No romantic comedies for me,” said Six. “I am now in pre-production of The Onania Club, a very original, highly perverted black comedy that will shake up the world yet again.”

Do we really need yet more depravity simply for shock value from Six? I think its time he tried something new.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
