‘Jurassic World’ featurette pays homage to Jurassic Park, boasts new footage

A new featurette has been released by Universal to help promote their upcoming fourth Jurassic Park movie, Jurassic World.

The three minute video features interviews with cast and director Colin Trevorrow as they talk about the brilliance of Jurassic Park, and what it meant to them. Jurassic Park director Steven Spielberg also speaks, hailing Jurassic World for pushing his ideas even further.

There is plenty of nostalgic moments here from the classic original film, plus a small amount of new footage from the new one.

Directed by Colin Trevorrow and Executive Produced by Steven Spielberg, Jurassic World stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins, Nick Robinson, Irrfan Khan, Vincent D’Onofrio, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy, BD Wong and Judy Greer.

Jurassic World will now open in cinemas June 11th 2015.

Twenty-two years after the events of ‘Jurassic Park’ (1993), Isla Nublar now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, as originally envisioned by John Hammond. After 10 years of operation and visitor rates declining, in order to fulfill a corporate mandate, a new attraction is created to re-spark visitor’s interest, which backfires horribly.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
