Its very rare these days that a TV Show gets everything right from beginning to end, and Vince Gilligan must be proud to see his masterpiece Breaking Bad continue to gain new fans and praise, nearly two years now after the most perfect of endings.
Despite every loose end tied up and with no more stories to tell, there was one tiny bit of thread left over that had fans puzzled. What happened to Huell?
Quick recap, Huell was Saul Goodman’s friendly bodyguard who always put a smile of the viewers face. Last we saw of him was when he was set up by Hank and Gomie who placed him in a safe house and we left him there staring at the floor…..and that was it.
Fans have laughed at the idea that he was still there, waiting for someone to turn up and there are plenty of funny images from fans all over the net as with all the commotion and chaos, he seemed to have been forgotten.
Well good old Gilligan has given the fans the long awaited response and its quite clear now for us all, wanting to know..
When asked was he still in that room, this what the creator had to say…..
“Yes, sadly he’s waiting morosely on that sofa, looking like a lost puppy… [Laughs] No. It’s likely that Agent Van Oster keeps in touch with DEA headquarters. So when he learns Gomez and Hank have gone missing, he would in short order tell his superiors what they were up to. Within a matter of hours, really not that many in story time, Huell will be taken back to HQ. They’ll question him, find out what he knows—which isn’t much—and he’ll be let out on the street. Right now, he’s doing what Huell does best, whatever that is. He’s out and about as a free man”
And there you have it….the only remaining loose end of a plot has finally been resolved…..
