Jake Gyllenhaal punches his way through new ‘Southpaw’ trailer


The first trailer for director Antoine Fuqua’s boxing drama, Southpaw, was ferocious, brutal and brilliant. A second, much shorter trailer has now been released, which continues the themes of a terrible event changes the life of boxer Billy Hope (Jake Gyllenhaal), and it is filled with stunning boxing and heavy, emotional drama.

Southpaw looks terrific.

Southpaw is directed by Antoine Fuqua, and is written by Kurt Sutter and Richard Wenk. Jake Gyllenhaal heads up the cast, which also includes Forest Whitaker, 50 Cent, Rita Ora, Naomie Harris and Rachel McAdams.

The film punches into cinemas on 31st July.
