Last night 20th Century Fox held a special event for their set to be massive sequel, Independence Day 2. Directed once again by Roland Emmerich, the official title was revealed as Independence Day: Resurgence, and a title card has been released, which you can view below.
Not much was revealed, apart from the title, and a few images of the Moon tug ship, which you can also see below. The live streamed event can be viewed in the below video, and it runs for thirty minutes should you feel inclined to give it a watch.
Roland Emmerich directs Independence Day: Resurgence, and the cast includes Liam Hemsworth, Jeff Goldblum, Bill Pullman, Judd Hirsch, Vivica A. Fox, Brent Spiner, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Jessie Usher, Maika Monroe, and Sela Ward.
Independence Day: Resurgence lands in cinemas on 24th June 2016.
Synopsis:
