Oh my, the first trailers for ‘Everest’ are tense as hell!


Universal have released a US trailer and a trailer for closer to home for their upcoming survival feature Everest, and boy these trailers are seriously tense.

The cast is to die for, the story will make for incredible viewing, and director Baltasar Kormakur‘s (2 Guns) appears to have done an outstanding job, if these trailers are anything to go by.

Everest is the incredible true story written by Mark Medoff (Children of a Lesser God), Simon Beaufoy (Slumdog MIllionaire), Lem Dobbs, Justin Isbell and William Nicholson. Baltasar Kormakur (2 Guns) directs, and the cast includes Jason Clarke, Josh Brolin, John Hawkes, Jake Gyllenhaal, Sam Worthington, Robin Wright, Emily Watson, and Keira Knightley.

The film climbs into cinemas on 25th September.


Inspired by the incredible events surrounding an attempt to reach the summit of the world’s highest mountain, EVEREST documents the awe-inspiring journey of two different expeditions challenged beyond their limits by one of the fiercest snowstorms ever encountered by mankind. Their mettle tested by the harshest elements found on the planet, the climbers will face nearly impossible obstacles as a lifelong obsession becomes a breathtaking struggle for survival. The epic adventure stars Jason Clarke, Josh Brolin, John Hawkes and Jake Gyllenhaal. They are joined by Martin Henderson, Emily Watson, Michael Kelly and Thomas M. Wright.
