I love prosthetic effects, stop-motion animation and gore, but most of all I love a good story! I adore B-movies and exploitation films in many of their guises and also have a soft spot for creature features. I review a wide range of media including movies, TV series, books and videogames. I'm a massive fan of author Hunter S. Thompson and I enjoy various genre of videogames with Kingdom Hearts and Harvest Moon two of my all time favs. Currently playing: GTA Online & Mortal Kombat 11

  1. The group in the original Final Destination, because the deaths and the way they try and prevent them is entertaining

  2. The Griswolds in the National Lampoon series – films I watch over and over again as they’re hilarious, and the family are all very likeable characters

  3. If you count 2 as a group then it’s got to be the two girls from the Japanese film “Kamikaze Girls” – a quirky film with such a mismatched pair that you’s never think they could become friends

  4. ‘Tremors’ I really enjoyed it even if it was a tad tongue-in-cheek. It’s probably the monster movie with the LOWEST all time kill rate as I think everyone survived? 😉

  5. I’m going to go with Brody, Quint and Hooper on board the Orca in Jaws. Starting off, certainly anything but friends, but by the time that some drink enhance singing begins a little grudging respect is beginning to show. If only they had brought a bigger boat!

  6. Well, it’s gotta be Columbus, Wichita, Tallahassee and Little Rock from Zombieland who make such a good end of the world group of people. And then briefly throw in Bill *bleeping* Murray and it’s pure perfection 🙂

  7. Pirates of the Caribbean- if you can class the ship mates as friends,i just love the whole series of movies.

  8. One Crazy Summer – goofy 80s John Cusack film – a misfit gang band together against the overlording snobby rich guy and his son trying to develop an island. It not very deep but I love it!

  9. Cabin In The Woods (2012) in which A group of college kids head off to a scary retreat -typical teenagers and a lot of jokes !!

  10. The girls from Mean Girls. They’re “best friends” but still so horrible to each other and even after all these years I just love it 😛

  11. Stand by Me- I loved the coming of age of the movie, and each character had their own problems and issues, and together they were great.

  12. I always thought the cast in American pie. I could imagine them hanging out together in real life x

  13. It has to be Cabin Fever for me! A happy group of friends set off for a weekend in a log cabin in the woods…..can only mean one thing…..disaster! What I love about this movie, is that there is no evil serial killer, no ghosts, goblins or poltergeists, no zombies or dead things creeping about in the night, but a deadly contagious fever! Brilliant viewing!

  14. Licence to drive, 1 of my all time favourite films & the chemistry between the 2 coreys shine out
