Comic-Con: Epic new trailer released for ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’

Holy crap! We all knew Zack Snyder’s ambitious Batman v Superman was going to be big, but this new Comic-Con trailer shows a beast of a movie.

Shared on-line shortly after being screened at Comic-Con, the epic three and a half minute trailer has everything from the reasonings behind the superhero fallout, to Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor with hair, all the emotional stuff and epic battles inbetween, and finally, FINALLY, a proper look at Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman, and she looks goood!

Still a bit messy though, and while I appreciate this is one hell of a task for Snyder to take on, I really hope he can reign himself in and make a much tighter film than the disappointing Man of Steel.

A new poster was also revealed, which you’ll also find below.

Warner Bros. Pictures’ “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” is the highly anticipated action adventure from director Zack Snyder, starring Henry Cavill in the role of Clark Kent/Superman, and Ben Affleck as BruceWayne/Batman.

“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” also stars Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, with Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane returning from “Man of Steel,” Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, and Holly Hunter in a role newly created for the film.

“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”is written by Chris Terrio, from a screenplay by David S. Goyer. Charles Roven and Deborah Snyder are producing, with Benjamin Melniker, Michael E. Uslan, Wesley Coller, David S. Goyer and Geoff Johns serving as executive producers.

Set to open worldwide in March, 2016, “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” is based on Superman characters created by Jerry Siegel & Joe Shuster, Batman characters created by Bob Kane, and Wonder Woman created by William Moulton Marston, appearing in comic books published by DC Entertainment.

Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
