Finally it is here, the full length trailer for the 24th James Bond film, Spectre, and it is quite spectacular!
The two and a half minute trailer is thrilling from start to finish, with Bond looking to disappear, while also infiltrating the SPECTRE organisation, which is headed by Christoph Waltz’ Franz Oberhauser.
There’s plenty of action for fans to get excited about, and Daniel Craig looks perfect as ever as Bond, but the big question is can Spectre break the astonishing records set by Skyfall? On the evidence of this trailer, Spectre looks just as good as Skyfall, so it may well be an even bigger film.
Filming locations for the latest installment in the massively popular franchise include London, Austria, Italy, Mexico and Morocco.
The name SPECTRE was featured in Ian Fleming’s Bond novels and stands for Special Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion. It’s a fictional global criminal syndicate and terrorist organization, led by supervillain Ernst Stavro Blofeld, and first appeared in the novel “Thunderball” and in the film “Dr. No” in 1962.
Daniel Craig returns in his fourth outing as Bond. Alongside returning cast members Rory Kinnear (Tanner), Ben Whishaw (Q), Naomie Harris (Miss Moneypenny) and Ralph Fiennes (M), Spectre will also star Andrew Scott as MI6 agent Denbigh, David Bautista as Mr. Hinx, Monica Bellucci as Lucia Sciarra, Léa Seydoux as Madeleine Swann and Christoph Waltz as Oberhauser.
Sam Mendes will also return to direct the screenplay written by John Logan. The film is set for release in UK theaters on October 26th, 2015 and in US theaters on November 6, 2015.
Mendes’ “Skyfall,” the 23rd James Bond movie, took over $1.1 billion at the box office worldwide.
Spectre will be filming at Pinewood Studios, Mexico City, Rome, Tangier & Erfoud, Morocco, Sölden, Obertilliach and Lake Altausee, Austria.
A cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE.
