Nexon Europe has launched the mammoth expansion ‘Into the Darkness’ for the F2P PC shooter, Counter-Strike Nexon: Zombies, providing brand new maps and scenarios for single player mode and multiplayer PvE and PvP modes. The latest update ‘Into the Darkness’ introduces the mode ‘Zombie Darkness’, which is now available in game.

Zombie Darkness is a brand new PvP mode, which sees a team of players struggle to survive and outlast a night against the undead – including an all new wall climbing class. A daytime/night time cycle temporarily gives an advantage to each team respectively – under the cover of darkness zombies gain a powerful advantage, where players should tread vigilantly.

There are three types of Zombies that players can get their hands on:

Normal Zombie – speed is key – these zombies can ambush and attack unsuspecting Humans, with the added bonus of climbing walls to get to Humans in hard to reach places.

Light Zombie – not as physically strong as other zombies, but what they lack in strength to defend themselves, they make up with the ability to leap high distances. If leaping between buildings isn’t effective enough, their invisibility skill should get the job done on distracted Humans.

Heavy Zombie – These large zombies unleash a powerful slam to the ground to have Humans shaking in their boots. To better withstand damage, this heavy class has the ability to harden against incoming fire from Humans.

Players won’t be fighting a losing battle – with new Human abilities, such as sprint and kick, the humans have better odds in their battle for survival. Build the Adrenaline gauge high enough and Concentrated Fire will provide players far higher damage to a Zombie putting their name, undead, to rest.

I love practical effects, stop-motion animation and gore, but most of all I love a good story! I adore B-movies and exploitation films in many of their guises and also have a soft spot for creature features. I review a wide range of media including movies, TV series, books and videogames. I'm a massive fan of author Hunter S. Thompson and I enjoy various genre of videogames with Kingdom Hearts and Harvest Moon two of my all time favs. Currently playing: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Yakuza Zero and Mafia III.
