Its not since the axing of Firefly, that a TV show being cancelled as caused so much furore, but as NBC said no more to a Constantine TV Show after a brilliant first season run, fans who have been upset over the demise now can look forward to seeing the character one more time.

The ARROW team have pulled off a major coup by getting Matt Ryan to reprise his role in episode 5 of the upcoming Season 4 run, in a title called quite fitting “Haunted”

Here is what Arrow producer Marc Guggenheim said when he confirmed the news!

“We are thrilled to have Matt Ryan reprise the role of John Constantine on an upcoming episode of Arrow. Matt is an incredibly talented actor and his portrayal of this beloved character was always something we admired,  The introduction of magic and mysticism on the show this season has provided a truly organic opportunity for us to bring John Constantine to Arrow and the CW’s DC universe. It will be a well-deserved tip of the hat to all the Constantine fans who were so incredibly supportive of that series.”

Arrow’s main star Stephen Amell has been very vocal in his support for Constantine, even offering to appear in Season 2 of the critically received show as the Green Arrow and with his influence on the ARROW set, is probably the main reason why this will cross-over is happening!

The new season of ARROW will start in October!
