I love prosthetic effects, stop-motion animation and gore, but most of all I love a good story! I adore B-movies and exploitation films in many of their guises and also have a soft spot for creature features. I review a wide range of media including movies, TV series, books and videogames. I'm a massive fan of author Hunter S. Thompson and I enjoy various genre of videogames with Kingdom Hearts and Harvest Moon two of my all time favs. Currently playing: Always Sometimes Monsters and The Witcher

  1. Seneca Crane in the Hunger Games – perfectly cast as the menacing game maker…with extra points for *that* beard!

  2. Edward Mordrake in American Horror Story. He was absolutely perfect for the role down to the way he spoke and moved. What a great series

  3. Pioneer because underwater movies get me claustrophobic and this was the film i remember him from except little roles like hunger games.

  4. Seneca Crane in The Hunger Games because I think it’s the only film (that I have seen that is) where he was able to fully explore the insanity of his character.

  5. “what is your favourite wes bentley role?” is a bit like “what is your favourite blunt object to hammer nails into your own face?”. he’s awful even in good movies, like american beauty.

maybe “interstellar” because he is barely in it and gets killed off.

or go the other way and say “hirokin”, because it really took a special level of badness to be the worst thing in that trainwreck, and he pulled it off with aplomb.

  6. Robinson in Dolan’s Cadillac – think that’s possibly the only thing I’ve seen him in (only one I remember anyways)

  7. As Jack Durrance in The Four Feathers where he successfully portrayed the view that duty and honour were the most important things in his life.

  8. Edward mordrake in American horror story as I liked his ghostly character that couldnt be stopped by any man when he came to take you

  9. Edward Mordrake from American Horror freak show, an amazing series and he is an awesome actor plus its been said the Edward Mordrake character is coming back.

  10. Ohhh – I loved him in Ghostrider and American Beauty, so either of those. Not seen Hunger Games but if he is in it I might have to have a watch :/ x
