I love prosthetic effects, stop-motion animation and gore, but most of all I love a good story! I adore B-movies and exploitation films in many of their guises and also have a soft spot for creature features. I review a wide range of media including movies, TV series, books and videogames. I'm a massive fan of author Hunter S. Thompson and I enjoy various genre of videogames with Kingdom Hearts and Harvest Moon two of my all time favs. Currently playing: Always Sometimes Monsters and The Witcher

  1. Favourite Johnny Depp role is Raoul Duke in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and Favourite Harrison Ford role is Dr Richard Kimble in The Fugitive.

  2. Johnny Depp is unforgettable as Edward Scissorhands and well, what can I say Harrison will always be Indiana Jones to me.

  3. Johnny Depp -As Rango. This is so laugh out loud funny.

Harrison Ford – As Rick Deckard in Blade Runner, Love this classic film.

  4. I love most of Johnny depps roles but especially Edward scissorhands

Harrison ford will always be Indiana Jones for me.

  5. Johnny Depp – Captain Jack Sparrow – Pirates of the Caribbean

Harrison Ford – Quinn Norris – Six Days Seven Nights

  6. Johnny Depp plays a riveting role in The Astronauts Wife as commander Spencer. For Harrison Ford it has to be ‘What lies Beneath’ That film makes me jump every single time.

  7. Love Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter in Alice in Wonderland and Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones, love the films and can watch them over and over again!

  8. Johny Depp was excellent in Benny & Joon (and it had Mary Stuart Masterson as a bonus), while Harrison Ford showed some real acting chops in Presumed Innocent.

  9. I love Johnny Depp in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas which is one of my favourite films. Its totally mad and hilariously funny. He is unrecognisable as his usual attractive self, and acts the part of Hunter S Thomson really well. It was funny to read an article about how the film came about and some of the things that went on when Johnny Depp stayed with Hunter S Thomson, I think it involved explosions!

  10. Suprisingly enough I really enjoyed Depp’s performance in ‘From Hell’ for which he was rather slated? Harrison Ford is at his best in Indiana Jones – Raiders & Last Crusade….possibly his worst in Crystal Skull which doesn’t bode well for the new Star Wars.

  11. Johnny Depp; Sands in “Once Upon A Time In Mexico” JD at his OTT best.
Harrison Ford; Quin Harris in “Six Days Seven Nights” HF as I imagine he’d like to be able to live his life.

  12. for depp: william blake in dead man. beautiful and intelligent film-making and depp nails the tone perfectly (something he doesn’t always do).

for ford: it’s a boring answer but it’s indiana jones in raiders of the lost ark. it’s rare that an actor and a role are so absolutely perfectly aligned. ford was born to play that role.

  13. Harrison Ford as John Book in Witness and Johnny Depp as the unforgettable Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Carribean

  14. Wow this is hard, I like so many of both actors movies.
I absolutely loved Johnny Depp in Benny & Joon, so would have to say his character Sam is my favourite.
as for Harrison Ford would have to go with his character Jack Ryan

  15. Johnny Depp As Captain Jack Sparrow- i love the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, they are great fun. Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones, another excellent series of movies that all our family always enjoy watching

  16. It’s got to be Edward Scissorhands for JD (‘cos I’m a Goth!) and for HF it will always be Indiana Jones (‘cos I’m an archaeology graduate!).

  17. Edward Scissorhands that i loved and have followed him ever since and its got to be Indiana Jones so many brilliant films

  18. My favourite Johnny Depp role is Wade Walker aka Cry -Baby in the film Cry Baby.

My favourite Harrison Ford role is Han Solo in the original 3 Star Wars film and hopefully he will rock it in the new Star Wars film as well!!!

  19. Classic Hans Solo for Harrison Ford and Sweeny Todd for Johnny Depp. Not the best voice in the world but what a great movie!

  20. Ooh so hard to choose! Johny Depp as Raoul Duke in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and Harrison Ford as Dr Richard Kimble in The Fugitive.

  21. Johnny Depp – my favourite role would have to be as Sands in Once Upon a Time in Mexico. He’s in the film for such a short period of time overall, but completely dominates the movie.

Harrison Ford, well, I have to be a wee bit geeky here and say Han Solo in Star Wars – the first film made (ep. 4) I do love that movie.

  22. Love Johnny Depp as the Mad hatter in Alice in Wonderland, Harrison Ford has got to be as Han Solo in Starwars of course 🙂 Thanks

  23. For Johnny Depp has to be his role as Sheldon Sands in Once Upon a Time in Mexico and I love Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones

  25. My favourite role for Johnny Depp is in Pirates of the Caribbean and for Harrison Ford is the role of The Fugitive.

  26. Johnny Depp – Captain Jack Sparrow – never knew I could fancy a bloke in make up so much *ahem*
Harrison Ford – has to be Hans Solo – Star Wars trumps every other thing he has done (altho Indy was a close runner up)

  27. The Ninth Gate – Jonny Depp plays Dean Corso, the character tracks down rare books, a really thrilling film.
Working Girl, with Harrison Ford playing Jack Trainer, Strange, but I like Harrison Ford in this, can’t explain why! 🙂

  28. It’s hard to choose favourites but there’s something Edward Scissorhands & Jack Ryan that’s made me watch the films several times each!

  29. I think my favourite Johnny Depp character is Ichabod Crane from Sleepy Hollow & Harrison Ford will always be Indiana Jones for me!

  30. Not the most exciting of answers but my favourite Harrison Ford role is as Indiana Jones and my favourite Johnny Depp role is Willy Wonka

  31. My favourite johnny Depp film is the first pirates of the Caribbean . He seems so natural playing jack sparrow.

My favourite Harrison Ford film is indiana Jones raiders of the lost ark. It may seem too obvious but I love the humour of it.
