Trailer Revealed For British Thriller THE CONTRACT Ahead of DVD and VOD Release on 18th January 2016

This January brings the anticipated feature film release of The Contract, the latest hard hitting, London based British thriller to come from the Producer of smash hit indie title City Rats (Tamer Hassan, Danny Dyer). Shot entirely on location in London, The Contract is a nascent love story of two people from polar opposite worlds, thrown together by circumstance. The film is scheduled for release on January 18th 2016 and will be available to buy in Asda, Tesco and HMV aswell as streaming online via multiple VOD services.

The film follows protagonist Nick (Robert Fucilla), a selfish, arrogant and morally questionable Hedge fund trader, who is all about helicopters, fast cars, luxury living and most importantly, money. He comes home from a business trip to find his sprawling, no expense spared mansion taken over by squatters. He soon finds himself paired with Erika (Sarah Armstrong), an injured woman with amnesia and his address tattooed on her arm. Nick’s attempts to help her unravel the past only embroil him in her seedy, violent world, on the run from a ruthless organised crime syndicate led by the deranged sadist, Roy (Danny Webb). Nick, the business shark, is about to learn the hard way that there is always a bigger fish, and this time the ability to buy himself out of trouble cannot save them. Nick will have to rely on his wits to save both their lives and finally overcome a threat which comes shockingly close to home.

The Contract is directed by Nic Auerbach (The Big I Am), and has an exciting list of British talent attached such as Danny Webb (Alien 3, Humans-Channel 4), Isabelle Allen (Les Misèrables), Nicky Evans (Shameless) Robert Fucilla (Bonded by Blood, Shank) Sarah Armstrong(HALO:Nightfall), Patrick Ryecart (The King’s Speech) and Dean Bardini (The Take).
